  • The Tamar Trails lies right next door for walking and cycling as does the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail.
  • The Granite Way, a cycle and walking track, runs from Okehampton to Lydford along the north edge of Dartmoor following the old railway.
  • Between Tavistock and Plymouth the cycling and walking route, known as the Drake's Trail, winds through beautiful countryside taking in the iconic Gem Bridge (pictured above).
  • Dartmoor National Park provides plenty of choice for walkers of all tastes. Routes can be taken over the open moorland encompassing tors, rivers, ancient hut circles and woodland, it's yours to discover.
  • The South West Coastal Path offers miles of scenic walks with stunning coast and sea views with many circular walks possible.
  • Fishing on the River Tamar can be arranged with the Arundell Arms and Endsleigh Fishing Club.
